Puppies are on the way!

Zing had an ultra sound on Friday and we saw 5 puppies.

Her Due date will be April 25th.

I will get another x-ray a week before to see if we missed any extra little creatures.

I can not wait as they are going to be pretty special.

Agility and Rally

On Saturday Waggz finished his ADCH Title with a great Snooker Run and placed second with a SQ. Way to go Mr. Waggz I am very proud of you!

Zing was a little crazy in the ring but we did manage to bring home a couple of ribbons.

The weekend before Inky and Zing were entered in a 3 day Rally show in Ventura.

Inky finished his Advanced Rally Title and did so with a perfect 100 score on Monday. Off to the Excellent class we go.

Zing finished her Novice Rally Title and also had a perfect score of 100 on Monday. So now she will be headed to the Advanced level.

3 long weekends in a row, I am ready to take a break...

FlyBall Weekend in Orange County

Waggz, Zing and I had a FUN Weekend racing with the rest of the RDR team at the Orange Crush Winter Games.

Ms. Zing showed me again how much she LOVES! FlyBall.

She was always ready to run as she was the second dog in the line up after Zip who was the start dog on the RDR/R Team.

Zing's fastest time was a 4.0 and I expect her to get even faster as she settles into the game.

Waggz held his own in the ring but was very up set barking his head off when he was just a back up dog on the side line looking in. He still has alot of spunk for an almost 10 year old dog.

The tournament was cut short on Sunday due to the rain that set in so the dogs slept in their jackets all snuggled in the back as I drove home 3 houes in the pouring rain.

It was a Great weekend but I was glad to be home.

Dieter Turns 15 years old!

Mr. Von Von Dieter has been Cancer Free for almost 2 years.

AMAZING!!!

Today he celebrated his 15th Birthday posing for photos and sharing his Applesauce Cake with his Border Collie Family of Inky, Waggz and little sister Zing.

Dieter has always been a special boy!

Now in human Years he is 105 years old.

He still walks with the pack an hour every day and believe it or not he still can jump up on the bed and snuggle him self into my pillow.

It is o.k. I will share my pillow.

I just hope when I am 105 I can get out of bed.

Team Trial

Waggz with his team partner Indy Q'd and placed 3rd for Performance Team 16" this weekend at Contact Point.

Waggz also earned a 3rd place finish with a leg and a Q for Performance National Standard.

Zing Q'd and got her second leg in Steeplechase 22".

All in all it was a fun and very cold weekend.

Zing is a Breed Champion

On Sat. At the "Burbank Kennel Club" Show Zing won "Winners Bitch" giving her the title of Breed Champion.

She is not letting it go to her head but now she is know as "CH Tarrynden Star Quest" or other wise known as Zing.

Zing is a New Champion!

At Ventura Fair Grounds on Sunday July 5th Zing won her Open Bitches Class. She came up with 4 points and her 3rd Major.

What a FUN! Weekend. (my whole body hurts)

I ran my dogs in Agility, Obedience and Showed in the Breed ring.

Inky Got his CDX Open Obedience Title on Sat. and then went in for fun on Sun. and finished like the 11year old Champ that he is with a first place showing. What a GOOD BOY!

Waggz Fnished his Agility Excellent Standard Title as well as getting 2 more Q's to his already Excellent Jumpers title.

Ms. Zing was a bit wild in the agility ring but held on for some really GREAT moments on the courses. Zing did have a GREAT Sat. in the breed ring placing best of Opposite Sex and earning her second 3 point major.

Enjoying Fun with my dogs and spending time with my friends is what it is all about!

She also got another leg in Novice Jumpers with another first place, one more leg and we will be in open in that class also.

Let me tell you it is really hard driving a really fast sports car with no stearing wheel!!!

Zing's First AKC Agility Show

This Weekend Zing and I attended her first Agility Trial. She was again a really GOOD Girl pulling out a first place in both Standard runs on Sat. and Sun. Her jumpers run on Sat. I pulled her from as we we working through watching the Skate Borders right next to the ring and the fear of GOD was in her little body. How ever by Sun. she was much better a she gave me a really beautiful controlled Jumpers run with just one bar down. I was bumbed about the bar, as she would have placed first, but I was happy we both worked together as a team through the fear of the noise of the skate borders.

She and I have a long and FUN time ahead of us in the Agility Ring!!!

Ventura Show 1 /16 &17 / 2009

Fun weekend in the Hot windy weather at the Ventura Fairgrounds. Got to see some old friends and make some new ones.

Inky at 10 years old took his first leg and a first place towards his CDX title. It is tuff on the old man but he or I are not willing to give up. Two more legs and we are there!

Zing on Sat went "Best of Winners" and "Best of Opposite Sex".We will keep on trucking with the beauty girl!

All in all a good 2 days.

Zing had X-Rays yesterday of her hips and I am thrilled!

She looks like she will be rated "GOOD".

I will get one more set of X-Rays done after she is 2 years old and then get the final certificate from O.F.A.

This weekend Waggz qualified for Performance Grand Prix, Performance Steeplechase and performance Team to be held in Oct. of 2009.

He was a REALLY good boy bringing home a medal and a third place finish with his partner Skye.
